Plans, credits and billing

What's free, how credits work, what Watsin Unlimited includes, and how to restore, cancel or get a refund through Apple.

What’s free

What uses credits

How many credits a request uses depends on how much work it takes. To see your balance, open the menu: it’s the number next to the gem on your name card. If you have Watsin Unlimited, it says Unlimited instead.

Getting credits

Watsin Unlimited

Watsin Unlimited lets you use every AI feature without counting credits. It’s a subscription for 3 months or 1 year that renews automatically.

To subscribe, open the menu, tap your credits and tap Subscribe. You’ll also find Get unlimited on a product’s evaluation, and Subscribe in the bottom bar when you’ve run out of credits. The price is shown before you confirm, and the purchase is charged to your Apple Account.

Restore purchases

New iPhone, or reinstalled Watsin? Sign in with the same email address, open the menu, tap your credits and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.

Cancel your subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so Watsin can’t cancel them for you.

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then Watsin.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Unlimited stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.

Deleting Watsin or your Watsin account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in Settings first.

Refunds

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, choose to request a refund and select the Watsin purchase. Apple decides on refunds under its own policies.

If credits or Unlimited don’t appear after a purchase, try Restore Purchases first, then contact us.

When you run out of credits

The chat box is replaced by Usage limited with a Subscribe button, and a product’s evaluation shows Unlock product evaluation. Scanning, reading labels and your saved products keep working.

The full rules are in section 6 of the Terms of Use.
